01 June 2025 – Jöklarannsóknafélag Íslands is the Icelandic Glaciological Society where many different parties get together to collaborate on glacier reseach collaborate. Two of ICELINK’s partners, the Icelandic MET Office and the University of Iceland, are part of this society, allowing ICELINK fieldwork to be coordinated with Jöklarannsóknafélag Íslands. This year, determining location for the ICELINK borehole on Vatnajökull is one of the many projects that will be executed during this week-long field campaign organised by the society.
